Very rare map of Span by Hugo Allard (1625-91) first published in Amsterdam in 1662. H. Allard didn't publish regular atlasses, his maps have been used to illustrate various composite atlasses (collections of maps, sometimes by various authors and publishers, gathered at individual customer's order) therefore are rare to find nowadays. At the end of the XVIIth century his sons, Carel and Abraham, started to publish regular atlasses, using own and father's maps.

Map size: 44,4 x 55,6 cm.
Condition good, but : paper yellowish, dirty, visible folds in the middle , repaired tear along centerfold, 2 small holes at margins.
