Rare state of map of Denmark by Frederick de Wit with unusuall colouring.
Frederick de Wit died in 1706, till 1710 his wife lead the company, then she sold the it on auction and most of de Wit's plates have been purchased by another great map publisher from Amsterdam, Pieter Mortier, who added own notes on maps. In 1711 P. Mortier died and business has been lead by his wife and son Cornelis, who(with Johaness Covens) created new company named Coven's & Mortier and changed publisher's notes again.
